Veracruz, Ver., 18 de Mayo del 2013.- Francisco Liaño Carrera, Gerente de Ingeniería de la Administración Portuaria (APIVER) informó que el libramiento ferroviario avanza en la cuarta de cinco etapas.
Precisó que las proyecciones es poner en operación la obra el próximo año, lo que permitirá eliminar al menos 150 cruces ferroviarios de automovilistas en la mancha urbana.
Asimismo, permitirá un dinamismo efectivo en la entrada y salida de mercancías del puerto hacia los principales centros de consumo a través de las dos líneas ferroviarias que convergen el puerto.
Detalló que la obra consiste en un libramiento a doble vía de 19 kilómetros que va desde el puerto actual hasta el parque logístico de Santa Fe, hasta donde llegan las empresas Kansas City y Ferrosur.
Explicó que la obra del libramiento ferroviario va paralela al boulevard carretero exclusivo para transporte pesado Kilómetro 13.5, cruza la autopista a la altura del Fraccionamiento Colinas de Santa Fé, luego atraviesa la población de Villarín y finalmente se conecta con el parque de Santa Fe.
